Carolina Panthers Today

Lets talk about the Carolina Panthers today.  Two weeks ago, anybody would have been crazy to talk about the Panthers making the playoffs.  Now, they are in first place in their division!  Crazy talk!  They had what one could call a scare last week when their star and franchise quarterback was involved in a serious car accident.  Luckily he walked away with only 2 back fractures.  Luckily, their backup quarterback Derek Anderson can step in and clutch it up when he has to.  So fingers crossed, they should be able to win their final 2 games and win the division.

What Can I do That Others Can't

I guess something I could do well that others can't is throw a curveball.  A curveball is one of the harder pitches to throw in the baseball world and I have become pretty good at throwing it.  A lot of times you will not see many people my age throwing it and it only becomes used a lot when you get to the higher college levels and to the professionals.  I have really two different types of curveballs, one being a high breaking curveball (which really means it starts off high and breaks down towards the bottom of the strike zone), and also one that starts low and just curves inside.  I usually mix it up how I like to throw them, if I throw the high breaker I would throw it on like the first pitch.  I feel it posseses an advantage over the opponent and others because they don't know how to hit it and know how to throw it.

My Four-Day Weekekend

First off, Thanksgiving was pretty fun.  I had to work early in the morning at ye ole' Country Market, where I got paid double and only worked until noon.  I went over to my Grandpa's house after that and had a really good Thanksgiving Dinner.  Later on that evening I went to Walmart to buy a portable bluetooth speaker which was on sale for almost half price, and I bought it out of impulse.  I hung out with my friend Tylor Serin for the rest of the weekend pretty much then ended up working on Sunday morning then fixing my vehicle later on.

What New Technology Do I Want

What new piece of technology that I would LOVE to have would be a PlayStation 4 (PS4).  The PS4 is called by many the greatest gaming console ever created and many others say that it simply puts its rival the Xbox One to shame.  I have played an Xbox One before many times before, and I must say that the only noticeable differences from the 360 are different controller and better graphics.  Not really worth it for $500 if I had to say.  The PS4 costs $400 and the console itself looks like its from the future, versus the Xbox which looks like a VCR machine from the 80's.  I asked my mom for a PS4 for Christmas, and from the sound of her voice when she replied it sounded as if I was going to get one.

My Idea of a Dull Evening

Basically my idea of a dull evening is when I don't hang out with any of my friends outside of school.  Almost every day this year I have hung out with one of my friends and usually our nights consist of going to get food then going back to their houses and playing xbox or watching a sports game of some type.  Just last week I stayed the night at one of my friends houses twice during the week and went over to his house every other day beside that.  Don't get me wrong I like my house and all, but there is only so much stuff to do there and usually there is a lot more fun stuff to do at my friends.  One time last year a group of us went to Taco Bell 4 times in one week!  That is what I think an evening should be instead of dull.

Being Honest

Lying can be both a good thing and a bad.  Some times when it is good to lie is when you are in danger and you know that you can lie and get out of the situation safely.  An example of when it wouldn't be a good situation to lie is when you are in trouble with the law and lying could get you in  much more trouble.  I usually try not to lie when I don' t have to, more times than not I find myself stretching the truth.  Some of the most common times I lie is like to a teacher if I say I have my homework done and I don't, or to my mom if I ask for money for a specific thing but end up spending it on something different.  I usually don't lie to my friends because I feel like they know me well enough that they will see right through me if I lie. So in all honesty is a good thing but sometimes, it is not good to be completely all the way honest.
