Portraits

Not everybody can take a good portrait picture. I believe it is true that you need to have a nice camera to be able to take a professional grade portrait photo.  One thing that is essential to taking a good portrait is the lighting.  It is obviously not easy for anyone to take a good portrait, I think that it is necessary to be trained and have some skill in the art.  Another element that is needed to take a good photo is the background.  A good background with some necessary props can make any photo look better than just stock.

Cheaters

My opinion on cheaters is just dont get caught.  I am not the kind of person to turn people in, that is not really my style.  It might change my thoughts about the certain person, but telling on them is just not cool.  Everybody has cheated in some way in there life so nobody is perfect. So again as long as you do not get caught it doesn't really matter to me if anybody cheats.

Baseball

The most exciting thing in my life right now is the fact that baseball starts in 1 week.  Sad thing for me though is it's my senior year so it is my final baseball season.  Last year I was the honorable mention on the All-County team for Sand Creek.  I am looking to build upon that and hope to be on the All-County 1st Team or at the very minimum be on the 2nd Team.  I have put the work in during the offseason and my arm and everything is better right now than it has been ever.  I am definitley hoping for a successful injury free and fun baseball season.

Testing

I do not feel like education relies too heavily on testing.  Unless someone can tell me a better way to show how a student has learned about the topic and is knowledgable on it I feel that tests are the best way.  Now that does not mean that I like tests, because I do not.  I am a decent test taker myself I would say.  Standardized tests are the worst of them all.  Taking the ACT was one of if not the worst and hardest test I have ever taken in my life.  But in the world we live in today everything is competitive and colleges want to accept the brightest and most promising students.  There are ways you can better yourself for taking tests, it just takes time and effort.  So in conclusion, tests are the best way to measure your knowledge and ability but they aren't everyones favorite.

The Most Important Things in Life

There are a lot of important things in my life but I will keep the list short to 4.  The first most important thing to me is my family.  They are always there for me and wouldn't be here without them.  The second most important thing to me is my car.  It is pretty nice and it gets me wherever I need to go.  The third most important thing in my life is baseball.  Baseball is my favorite sport and something I am pretty good at.  And finally, the last thing I am thankful for is my house.  It does a good job of keeping me warm and is nice and its welcoming.

Popular President

The president I believe had the greatest impact is Abraham Lincoln.  The reason I say this is because during his short presidency he abolished slavery and mended a nation torn by the Civil War.  The hardest thing about being president is probably all of the choices you have to make and having to make yourself look perfect infront of an entire nation at all times. It would be hard being in the spotlight all the time.  I would never want to be president because I am a quiet person and that is just not something that I am interested in.  But I guess if I were to ever run for president my campaign pitch would be "Bringing Welfare to an End, in 4 years".

I want out of here!

If I could choose between being in the mountains, desert, or at a beach right now, I would choose the mountains.  I was just at a beach a few weeks ago when I was in Florida, so I would'nt really care if I was at one right now.  The mountains are really cool, and they look beautiful.  And if you see in some pictures there are lakes and forests located within the mountains and I think it would be really cool to explore those.  I would like to go hunting in the mountains because wherever there is mountains there is always a lot of big game.  The desert isn't really for me because it's boring and not a whole lot of plant life or wildlife.  It's just a big hot sandbox where you get sunburnt and dehydrated really easily.
